About
PDF tools that stay out of your way
DSNOOPDOC is a set of online PDF tools — merge, convert, sign, OCR — plus an optional workspace when your team needs saved files, folders, and shared fillable forms.
Why we built it
Desktop PDF software is overkill for most jobs
Most people need one thing done once — combine three files, convert a proposal, unlock a file they already have the password for. Installing a 2 GB suite for that never made sense to us.
So we built the utilities first: pick a tool, run the job, download, close the tab. If you later want a place to store closing binders or publish a fillable form at /f/your-link, the workspace is the same product — not a separate upsell site.
We are a small team. Roadmap priorities come from support mail and repeat searches, not from stuffing every possible PDF feature onto one page.
How we work
A few rules we do not bend
These show up in product decisions more than any marketing slide.
Built for real tasks
We ship tools people actually open on a Tuesday — merge this packet, fix this scan, sign this one page.
Short file lifetimes
Anonymous uploads are processed and removed. We are not hoarding your contracts to train anything.
Straight answers
If a scanned PDF will not convert cleanly to Word, we say so. Saves everyone a support thread.
Free core tools
Merge, split, convert, compress, sign — the everyday jobs stay free. We charge for storage and team features, not the basics.
Fast enough
Most jobs finish in seconds. Huge scans take longer; we would rather be slow than corrupt your file.
Workspace when you need it
Folders, shared forms, and tracked links are there when email attachments stop working.

Try it
Pick a tool or open a workspace
No credit card for the free utilities. Create an account only when you need files to stick around.
DSNOOPDOC started as a set of PDF tools we wished existed: merge a closing binder without installing desktop software, convert a Word file on a locked-down laptop, sign an NDA before the meeting ends.
The free tools stay free. If you outgrow one-off jobs — folders for recurring packets, fillable forms your clients fill at a link, or knowing whether the proposal you sent was ever opened — a workspace adds that. Nothing pushes you there after a single conversion.
What we actually optimize for
Runs in a tab
No plugin, no 400 MB desktop suite, no admin rights. Merging, splitting, compressing, and converting PDFs works on whatever machine IT gave you.
Files do not stick around
Anonymous jobs delete inputs after your download finishes. We are not building a document archive from free tool traffic.
Honest conversion
PDF to Word on a scan will not magically become perfect headings. We say that upfront instead of pretending OCR fixed your 2009 fax.
One product, not a bundle
Saved packets, published /f/ form links, and open-tracking on shared documents live in the same workspace as the free utilities — no second product to learn or pay for separately.
Common use cases
- Counsel merges exhibits on a Friday night before a filing deadline.
- Freelancers invoice from a template, compress for email, and sign in one tab.
- HR publishes onboarding PDFs as fillable forms with archived answers.
- Ops runs the same merge → compress → watermark steps every month-end.
Frequently asked questions
What is free and what costs money?
Merge, split, compress, convert, OCR, and the resume/invoice/quote builders cost nothing and never have. A paid workspace adds the persistent parts: saved files and folders, team spaces, published forms, and tracked share links.
Where are files processed?
Conversion, merge, OCR, and similar jobs run on our servers over HTTPS. Client-side builders (resume, invoice) keep your field data in the browser until you export PDF.
Do you train AI on uploaded PDFs?
No. Document bytes from public tools are not used to train models. Chat-with-document sessions are ephemeral unless you save output to a workspace.
Who is behind the product?
A small engineering team builds DSNOOPDOC, runs its servers, and answers its support mail — the person who replies to your bug report can usually also fix it. For partnerships or press, email contact@dsnoopdoc.com.
How do I report a bug?
Use the contact form or write support@dsnoopdoc.com with the tool name, browser, and what you expected versus what happened. Screenshots help.
