Cookie Policy

This page is a plain-language description of our actual practices, written to match how the product works today, not a generic template.

Your sign-in session

When you sign in, DSNOOPDOC does not set a browser cookie for your session. Instead, your browser's localStorage stores a signed session token and, if you're a member of more than one workspace, which one you last had active. Both stay on your device and are sent only to our own API — never to a third party — and are cleared when you sign out or clear your browser's site data.

Google Sign-In and Google Drive import

If you use "Continue with Google" to sign in, or the Google Drive option to import a file, the sign-in flow is hosted by Google (accounts.google.com) and Google sets its own cookies on its own domain to run that flow — we don't control those and they're subject to Google's cookie policy, not ours. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we receive from Google once that flow completes.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and which pages/tools get used, which sets its own cookies (typically named _ga and similar) to distinguish visitor sessions. These don't identify you personally and don't see document contents. You can block them in your browser without breaking any tool — analytics is not required for the site to function.

What we don't use

No third-party advertising or ad-retargeting cookies, and no cross-site tracking pixels. We don't sell or share browsing data with data brokers.

Managing cookies and local storage

Most browsers let you block or clear cookies and site data per-domain in their privacy settings. Blocking Google Analytics won't affect signing in or using any tool; clearing this site's local storage will sign you out.
