PDF.js's getTextContent() only returns runs that exist as real text objects inside the content stream. A scanned page is one flat image, so there's nothing to extract — run OCR to add a text layer first, then come back to edit inline.

Each input keeps the width measured from the original run; the page image behind it doesn't reflow to make room. A same-length swap sits cleanly, but a noticeably longer replacement can spill past that original footprint.

?Can I edit more than one page without re-uploading?
